DiamondGlow™ is more than a facial. Unlike traditional wet facial treatments, which rely on chemical exfoliation to treat skin at surface level, DiamondGlow’s™ patented recessed diamond tip wand delivers a next-level resurfacing treatment that deeply cleans and rejuvenates the skin.
Just 1 DiamondGlow™ session enhances clarity and luminosity. In a clinical study, patients reported positive results, immediately, and in the days following their treatments.
You’ll love your instantly dewy, brighter skin, infused with nourishing SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serums. But even better, you’ll see continued improvement with each treatment.
Did you know…
that aging causes a gradual loss of collagen in the skin? Collagen is responsible for making skin appear tight, smooth, and full – all signs generally associated with youth. Since Diamond Glow treatments promote new collagen production, the skin takes on a smoother and younger appearance with each treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Am I a good candidate for DiamondGlow™?
The DiamondGlow™ treatment is not for everyone. You should not have a DiamondGlow™ treatment if you have compromised skin quality. Tell your provider if you are pregnant or lactating, or if you have any medical conditions, including allergies, and if you are using topical medications on the area to be treated.
What should I expect during a Diamond Glow treatment session?
Professional Diamond Glow treatments are performed using a wand that gently ‘sands’ the skin. During each session, a diamond-tipped wand buffs away the uneven outer layer of the skin, producing a mild vibration and a scratching sensation. The procedure causes little or no discomfort and typically takes about half an hour.
Is there any downtime after a DiamondGlow™ treatment?
DiamondGlow™ is a noninvasive treatment with minimal downtime, so you can return to your daily activities right after treatment.
How often is a DiamondGlow™ treatment recommended?
We recommend 1-2 treatments per month to see continued improvement and glowing results. Your provider will determine your personalized treatment plan.
Are there any potential side effects?
Typical side effects include a scratchy, stinging sensation during the treatment and temporary tightness, redness or slight swelling after the treatment. Rare serious side effects may also occur and include severe skin irritation and allergic reactions.
